All Pets in GAG2 — Abilities, Rarity & How to Get Each
Complete list — defenders, thieves, harvesters, mutators, scouts and more
Grow a Garden 2 has 27 documented pets across 8 roles: defenders (Bee, Black Dragon, Ice Serpent), thief (Raccoon), harvesters (Monkey, Robin), mutators (Unicorn, Golden Dragonfly), movement (Bunny, Frog), scout (Owl), farming (Deer), and storage (Turtle). Pets hatch from eggs, spawn in the wild, or are purchased with Sheckles or Robux.
Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations — Big and Huge. When a pet spawns it has a small (currently unconfirmed, very low) chance to appear mutated: a bigger version of the standard pet that boosts its effect. These are separate from crop mutations — they apply to pets, not plants.
The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost. Confirmed examples:
Big Bunny: +10 avatar speed (normal Bunny gives +5)
Big Frog: +10 jump height (normal Frog gives +5)
Big Deer: +20% garden growth speed (normal Deer gives +10%)
The Huge mutation is even rarer; its exact per-pet values are not yet documented (TBA). Spawn odds for both Big and Huge are very low and unconfirmed in-game.
