Jandel Monkey

Jandel Monkey is a Mythic-rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2 themed on Jandel (creator of Grow a Garden 1). Visually: a monkey in a golden crown, tied to his "go gold" Admin Party teaser. Originally teased for GAG1 across an entire year, now finally shipping — in GAG2.

Ability. Passively swings around your garden and every 15 minutes summons a random weather event for everyone on the server, not just you. The first pet in GAG2 with a server-wide effect — one Jandel Monkey in a server means every player benefits from (or has to react to) the fixed-cadence weather roll.

How to get it — limited window. Jandel confirmed on TikTok/Discord that Jandel Monkey is only obtainable during the Admin Party on August 2, 2026 at 12:00 AM PT, and requires completing an in-event challenge (exact challenge undisclosed — likely tied to being active in a public server while Jandel runs admin commands). Only a select few players will be able to obtain it — after the Admin Party window ends, the pet is permanently unobtainable (join the queue for trade after).

Why it matters. A server-wide random-weather trigger every 15 minutes is a massive economy accelerator — one Jandel Monkey in a server means Blood Moon / Frost / Lightning / Disco weather windows roll on a fixed cadence. Given the extreme rarity (Admin Party window + challenge gate), the trade value post-launch will be enormous.

Jandel Monkey can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations -- Big Jandel Monkey and Huge Jandel Monkey -- a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer.
