Special Event Seeds (Gold, Rainbow & Mega Seed)

These are not regular shop crops — they are special seeds that spawn on the map during a weather event. Walk over one to collect it, then plant it. The Gold, Rainbow and Mega seeds grow a random crop, with a variant/mutation applied (Gold and Rainbow give their own variant; Mega Seed can give a random one).

Gold Seed	Legendary	Spawns during the Gold Moon weather event — grows a random shop crop with the Gold variant.
Mega Seed	Mythic	Spawns around the map during the Mega Moon weather event (~2% chance) — grows a random shop crop, with a chance of a random mutation (e.g. Gold, Rainbow, or Gigantic).
Rainbow Seed	Mythic	Spawns during the Rainbow Moon weather event — grows a random shop crop with the Rainbow variant.

Rarity Tiers Explained

Seeds are divided into rarity tiers that determine how often they appear in shop restocks and how valuable their harvested crops are. The tiers run from Common and Uncommon up through Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, and Super.

Common and Uncommon seeds appear in most restocks and are affordable for new players. Legendary and higher seeds are rare restocks that require a fast reaction and a large Sheckle balance to purchase. See the Live Stock Tracker to catch rare restocks as they happen.

New Player Seed Picks

New players should start with Common and Uncommon seeds like Carrot and Strawberry — both are cheap, fast-growing, and nearly always in stock. Once you have a steady Sheckle income, upgrade to higher-rarity seeds.

Defense Plants (Venus Flytrap)

Defense plants are purchasable seeds that also act as automated protection for your garden during the night phase. They produce harvestable crops in addition to their defensive function.

The Venus Flytrap was confirmed in the official Jandel trailer. It eats players who enter your garden to steal crops. Place it at garden entrances for maximum coverage. For a full defense strategy, see the Defense guide.

Ability Mushrooms (Jump, Shrink, and Invisibility)

Three mushroom items help players steal from other gardens. They are consumable gear items sold in the Gear Shop, each granting a temporary movement ability. Click any mushroom for its full gear page.

Mushrooms are consumed on use. Exact durations and cooldowns are not yet documented.

Robux-Only Seeds

Dragon's Breath is the only Robux-exclusive seed in the current shop. It cannot be purchased with Sheckles. For Robux gacha packs that reward random crop seeds, see Seed Packs.

Dragon's Breath costs approximately 1,499 Robux per seed; verify the exact cost in the in-game shop before purchasing. Gifting is supported — players can buy Robux seeds and gift them to others.

How to Buy Seeds in GAG2

The seed shop is a central NPC stand in the middle of the map. To buy seeds:

1. Walk to the seed shop in the center of the map (near NPC Sam and NPC Gilbert).
2. Click the shop to open the seed purchase interface.
3. Select a seed and confirm the purchase with Sheckles (or Robux for premium seeds).
4. The seed is added to your inventory. Walk to your garden plot and plant it by selecting it and clicking on an empty tile.
5. Seeds grow in real time, including while you are offline. Return to harvest when the growth timer completes.
