What we know about Carrot
Carrot is the first crop new players are expected to buy in Grow a Garden 2. It was explicitly shown growing in Jandel's official May 31, 2026 trailer, making it one of the few crops with confirmed in-game presence before launch. The transcript from the pre-release review describes it as looking "basically exactly the same" as in Grow a Garden 1, suggesting no major visual overhaul. In GAG1 the carrot was a single-harvest common crop always available in the seed shop. Its fast grow time and low price made it the default beginner money-maker. Those qualities are expected to carry over to GAG2. Rarity is almost certainly Common based on GAG1 precedent, though the exact GAG2 rarity tier name has not been officially confirmed. Seed shop price, base sell value, base weight, and growth time are all unknown and will be updated after in-game verification.
