The walk speed bonus helps with moving between your garden, the Sell Stand, and the Seed Shop more quickly. Whether the +5 is a flat stat or percentage, and whether it stacks with other movement bonuses, is not yet documented. Compare with Frog, which boosts jump height instead.
In GAG1, Bunny ate a carrot at 1.5x its value every 40 seconds -- that mechanic does not exist in GAG2.
