Deer is a Rare pet obtainable from the Common Egg (4.29% hatch chance) or purchased for 50,000 Sheckles. As the only dedicated farming pet, Deer is the go-to choice for players focused on reducing grow times during long sessions or overnight AFK runs.
In GAG1, Deer gave a 3% chance for berry plants to auto-replant on harvest -- that mechanic does not exist in GAG2. The current growth speed bonus applies to every crop in the garden simultaneously.

Deer can rarely spawn with a pet mutation. Grow a Garden 2 has two pet mutations -- Big Deer and Huge Deer -- a rare appearance change that boosts the pet's effect. The Big mutation roughly doubles a pet's passive boost (for example a normal Bunny gives +5 speed, a Big Bunny +10), and Huge is even rarer.
