Ability
Flies around your garden eating ripe fruit and sometimes drops seeds. Robin is an unusual utility pet -- it consumes ripe crops from the owner garden but drops seeds in return. Whether the net value of dropped seeds exceeds the value of consumed crops, and what types of seeds it drops, are not confirmed in-game.
Overview
Robin is a Legendary rarity pet in Grow a Garden 2, added on launch day June 12 2026. Based on early game data, Robin flies around the owner's garden eating ripe fruit and sometimes dropping seeds. This creates an unusual trade-off: Robin consumes crops that the player could otherwise sell, but compensates by dropping seeds that can be replanted. Whether the seeds Robin drops are of the same type as the crops it ate, whether they are random seeds, or whether they can be rare seeds is unknown. At 75,000 Sheckles, Robin is relatively affordable compared to higher-tier pets, and with a 2.86% spawn chance it is one of the more accessible Legendary pets. The balance of Robin's ability -- eating ripe crops vs. dropping seeds -- will depend heavily on the quality of the dropped seeds, which requires in-game testing. Players considering Robin should weigh it against Monkey, which auto-harvests and delivers crops to the player rather than consuming them. All data is from early game data and not yet fully verified in-game.
