Rain is the most common weather event in Grow a Garden 2. Based on current game data, Rain doubles the growth speed of all plants on the entire server for 5 minutes. This applies to every garden simultaneously -- not just your own. During Rain, crops that normally take 30 seconds take only 15 seconds, making it the single best time to plant and harvest high-volume crops like Carrot and Strawberry. Unlike other weather events such as Lightning or Blizzard, Rain applies no mutation to crops; it is a pure growth speed bonus with no risk of unwanted effects. Pairing Rain with Sprinkler gear stacks the growth bonuses. How often Rain triggers relative to other weather events and whether it can overlap with mutation weather events are not confirmed in-game.
