Overview

Fall Harvest is the first standalone event coming to Grow a Garden 2 — targeted release August 2, 2026. Unlike weather cycles or in-map surprises, Fall Harvest is a separate experience that players enter by talking to Explorer Ethan at the Explorer Stand in Garden Valley.

How to enter: Once the countdown on Explorer Ethan hits zero, interacting with him unlocks the transfer into the Fall Harvest experience. Until then, Explorer Ethan only displays a live countdown ("Talk to me in Xd Xh Xm...") and no other dialogue.

What is new:

  • Leaves — a brand new currency exclusive to Fall Harvest. The obtainment method has not been disclosed yet, but it will replace Sheckles as the primary economy inside the experience.
  • Auctioning disabled — the Auctioneer/Auction Stand is turned off while you are inside Fall Harvest. Any auction-related actions must be done in the main map.
  • Standalone experience — Fall Harvest is the first content to be pulled out of the main map into a distinct Roblox experience. Do Big Games appears to be using it as a template for future event drops.

Why it matters: Fall Harvest is expected to launch alongside a set of new event-exclusive crops, gear and possibly a themed crate. As of July 20, 2026 only Explorer Ethan and hints around fall-themed content (Plum crop, Rake / Big Rake / Mega Rake gear via Rake Crate, Bull Horn, Harp, Wind Staff) have surfaced from data-mining, and it is not yet confirmed which of these ship with the event.

Because the event has not launched yet, everything on this page is pre-release — details will change once Fall Harvest goes live on August 2. Bookmark this page and check back after launch for the confirmed drop list, Leaves conversion rates and full mechanics.

Entry

How to enter Fall Harvest

Fall Harvest is entered through Explorer Ethan at the Garden Valley — Explorer Stand (near the center of the map). Right now the entry point only shows a countdown to the release date (Sunday, August 2, 2026). Interacting with the NPC before the countdown ends does nothing else.

Standalone experience: Fall Harvest is a separate Roblox place from the main GAG2 map. Your main garden, Sheckles and inventory are safe while you are inside — nothing you own carries risk of being lost on entry.

Currency

Leaves — the new event currency

Fall Harvest introduces a new currency called Leaves. Inside the event, Leaves replace Sheckles as the primary economy — event-exclusive purchases use Leaves instead of Sheckles.

How Leaves are earned inside the event has not been disclosed yet. We will update this section once Do Big Games publishes the earning mechanics or the event launches and the sources are confirmed in-game.

What is turned off

Disabled features inside Fall Harvest

The following features are disabled while you are inside the Fall Harvest experience:

  • Auctioning

These features remain available in the main GAG2 map — you can exit the event at any time to use them.

Data-mining status

Fall Harvest drops — what to expect

The confirmed drop list for Fall Harvest has not been published. As of July 20, 2026, data-mining and Fandom updates have surfaced fall-themed content but none of it is officially tied to the event yet:

  • Plum — Secret-rarity multi-harvest crop, currently unreleased
  • Rake Crate — 500,000 Sheckles, drops Rake / Big Rake / Mega Rake
  • Bull Horn — Rare, 15,000 Sheckles, ragdolls players in a 25-stud radius
  • Harp — spawns 5 random pets from a themed pool
  • Wind Staff — Tornado + player-pull effect, 10-second cooldown

This section will be updated to a confirmed drop list once Fall Harvest goes live on Sunday, August 2, 2026 and the in-game data is verified.

Fall Harvest FAQ

When does Fall Harvest release in Grow a Garden 2?

Fall Harvest is targeted for August 2, 2026. The countdown on Explorer Ethan's Explorer Stand ticks down to that date. Once the countdown hits zero, Explorer Ethan unlocks and lets you transfer into the Fall Harvest experience.

What is Fall Harvest in gag 2?

Fall Harvest is the first standalone event coming to Grow a Garden 2. It is a separate experience from the main map, entered through Explorer Ethan. It introduces a new currency called Leaves and disables Auctioning inside the experience.

How do I get into Fall Harvest?

Walk up to Explorer Ethan at the Explorer Stand in Garden Valley and interact with him. Before August 2, 2026 he only displays a countdown; after launch, interacting with him will transfer your character into the Fall Harvest experience.

What is the new currency in Fall Harvest?

The event introduces a new currency called Leaves. It appears to be the primary economy inside the Fall Harvest experience, replacing Sheckles while you are in that experience. How Leaves are earned has not been disclosed yet — Do Big Games will announce mechanics closer to launch.

Is Auctioning available during Fall Harvest?

No. Auctioning is disabled inside the Fall Harvest experience. If you want to buy from or sell to the Auctioneer, you must do it in the main Grow a Garden 2 map before or after entering Fall Harvest.

What crops and gear come with Fall Harvest?

The confirmed drop list has not been published. Data-mining as of July 20, 2026 has surfaced fall-themed content — the Plum crop (Secret rarity), Rake Crate (containing Rake, Big Rake, Mega Rake), and gear items Bull Horn, Harp, Wind Staff — but none of these are confirmed to be event-exclusive yet. We will update this page as Do Big Games confirms which items ship with Fall Harvest.

Is Fall Harvest permanent or limited-time?

Not confirmed. The event has not launched yet so no duration has been announced. Standalone Roblox event experiences typically run for a limited window (2-4 weeks) before being retired or replaced. We will update the end date on this page once Do Big Games announces it.

Do I lose my main-map crops when I enter Fall Harvest?

No. Fall Harvest is a separate experience, so your main-map garden, inventory and Sheckles balance stay untouched while you are inside. When you exit Fall Harvest, you return to your main garden with everything you had before, plus whatever you gained inside the event.
