Eclipse is an on-demand weather event in Grow a Garden 2. Unlike other weather events, it does not spawn on a natural timer — it is triggered whenever a player harvests an Eclipse Bloom crop, and lasts 2 minutes per activation.
During an Eclipse window, other crops can roll the Eclipsed mutation at a 1% chance on harvest (0.1% during growth). Eclipsed is an 80x Sheckles multiplier — currently the strongest environmental mutation. Because Eclipse triggers on-demand, the effective farming loop is: grow Sun Bloom + Moon Bloom, merge them with a Trowel into an Eclipse Bloom, harvest the Eclipse Bloom to open a 2-minute Eclipse window, then harvest as much value-crop as possible during the window to roll Eclipsed.
