Fence Crate in Grow a Garden 2
Field notes
What we know about Fence Crate
Fence Crate was one of the earliest leaked crate types in Grow a Garden 2, appearing in the original March 12, 2026 Do Big Leaks post alongside the Conveyor Crate. Fences are the foundational defensive structure: enclosing your garden perimeter forces thieves to find another way in, such as using a Jump Mushroom to jump over or a Door Crowbar to breach the Owner Door. Fences have no direct equivalent in Grow a Garden 1, where defense was not a core mechanic. Rarity, sheckle price, number of fence panels per crate, and whether fences can be destroyed by thieves all require in-game verification.

Build decision
Is Fence Crate worth placing?
Compare the crate's confirmed function with the amount of garden space it consumes. For defensive structures, use layered protection rather than relying on one object. Cosmetic and utility crates should be evaluated after the core garden is protected.
