Grow a Garden 2 is scheduled to launch on June 12, 2026 at 4:00 PM UTC (12:00 PM Eastern / 9:00 AM Pacific). The Roblox game page is available at https://www.roblox.com/games/95204935687527/ and credits BMWLux (Adrian), Jandel (Janzen Madsen of Splitting Point Studios), and Jhailatte.

The game received over 336,000 notification sign-ups before launch through the official Roblox Events page hosted by The Garden Game group.

Key features at launch:

  • Free stealing during the night phase (no Robux required, unlike Grow a Garden 1)
  • Base defense building with fences, owner doors, bear traps, and combat plants
  • Guild system managed by NPC Gilbert (creation costs 99 Robux per early-access sources)
  • Pets with active abilities: Raccoon (steals crops), Gnome (kills thieves), Deer, Frog, Bunny
  • Five sprinkler tiers: Basic, Uncommon, Rare, Legendary, Super
  • New selling NPC named Sam with daily deal and "ask for more" mechanics
  • Moon Bloom: a new crop exclusive to GAG2, confirmed by developer Adrian
  • Dragon's Breath: Robux-exclusive defensive crop that fires at intruders (approximately 1,499 Robux per seed, based on early gameplay reports; verify in-game)
  • Blood Moon confirmed as a launch weather event
  • Approximately 24 seeds at launch including all Grow a Garden 1 staples plus new additions
  • Expandable plots starting small (approximately 2 tile strips)
  • Offline crop growth continues as in GAG1
  • New return cutscene when logging back in after offline period

Full data wipe from GAG1: all sheckles, gamepasses, and items from Grow a Garden 1 do not carry over. Every player starts from zero.
