Grow a Garden 2 received its second major content update on June 28, 2026, headlined by the release of the Hypno Bloom super seed and a brand-new Auctioneer NPC.
Hypno Bloom -- new Super seed
The Hypno Bloom is now obtainable as the second Super-rarity crop in the game (alongside Dragon's Breath). Key stats:
- Price: 90,000,000 Sheckles or 1,599 Robux
- Stock chance: ~0.275%
- Harvest: produces 2 fruits per plant
- Grow time: ~23 minutes (plant) + ~5.5 minutes (fruit)
- Ability: hypnotizes and controls anyone who gets in its way (crowd-control defense)
- Huge chance: 1%
- Base weight: 9 kg
At 41 kg, a single Hypno Bloom sells for around 494,000 Sheckles with no mutations -- roughly 3.5x more than a Ghost Pepper at similar weight (138,380 Sheckles at 37 kg). One Super Watering Can is enough to fully grow it.
Auctioneer -- new NPC
The Auctioneer is a new NPC at the Auction Stand who sells 6 random premium items that restock every 20 minutes. Items can include super sprinklers, super watering cans, mythical seeds, and super seeds.
The Auctioneer uses Dutch auction pricing: each item starts at an extremely high price (potentially billions of Sheckles) and gradually decreases over time. Rarer items have fewer units in stock. Players must decide whether to buy early at a premium or wait for the price to drop and risk someone else buying the stock first.
Seed pack drop table rebalance
All six seed packs received updated drop tables in this patch:
- Rare Seed Pack -- expanded from 23 to 27 crops (added Dragon's Breath, Venom Spitter, Moon Bloom, Hypno Bloom)
- Uncommon Seed Pack -- expanded from 20 to 27 crops (added Sunflower, Mushroom, Venus Flytrap, Dragon's Breath, Venom Spitter, Moon Bloom, Hypno Bloom)
- Mythic Seed Pack -- expanded from 26 to 27 crops (added Hypno Bloom at 0.04%)
- Legendary Seed Pack -- expanded from 22 to 27 crops (added Hypno Bloom, Tomato, Blueberry, Strawberry, Carrot)
- Secret Seed Pack -- now has a full 22-crop drop table (Dragon's Breath 13.4% down to Carrot 0.17%)
- Super Seed Pack -- now has a full 24-crop drop table (Sunflower 12.16% down to Hypno Bloom 2.91%)
