Each lot has a set of properties that control exactly how the price drops. The game calculates the current price every few seconds using the formula below.

The game uses this formula to calculate the price at any moment. The price never goes below the minimum, no matter how long the lot sits.

Example: A lot starts at 100,000 Sheckles with a 10% decrement every 60 seconds and a minimum of 10,000. After 5 minutes (300s), the price is max(10,000, 100,000 - 10,000 × 5) = 50,000 Sheckles. After 10 minutes it hits the 10,000 floor.

Every auction lot has these six properties. Understanding them tells you exactly when to buy.

Stock— "xN in Stock" (limited), "Unlimited", or "Sold Out".
What items appear in the auction
The auction lot pool includes seven item categories. Any of these can roll when a new lot appears. The rarity and value varies — you might see a common seed pack or a legendary pet.

Timing is everything in a Dutch auction. Here are four approaches depending on the lot:
Snipe Rare Lots
If a rare pet or legendary seed appears with limited stock (1-3 in Stock), buy immediately at full price. Other players will grab it before the price drops.
Wait on Unlimited
Unlimited stock lots are safe to wait on. Let the price drop to 30-40% of start price before buying. No competition risk.
Watch the Timer
The lot rotates every 30 minutes. If you see a lot with 5 minutes left and the price is already at the floor, buy it then. If nothing good is up, wait for the next rotation.
Check Sheckle vs Robux
Some lots offer a Robux option. Compare the Sheckle cost at current auction price against buying the same item from the regular shop. The auction is usually cheaper at 50%+ discount.
